The St. Louis Minority Business Council has developed another new opportunity for MBEs to meet with potential buyers. Enterprise Rent-A-Car, the first company to be part of this new effort, identified specific business opportunities within their organization. The Council strategically matched certified MBEs to the requests, resulting in 22 MBEs participating in this new forum. Based on the positive response from both MBEs and corporate representatives, the Council plans to offer similar forums in 2005 at Proctor and Gamble, Monsanto, Dial Corporation, and Ameren. |
