Governor Recognizes Annetta Vickers and T.A.B.
Last October, Annetta Vickers, founder and president of T.A.B. Company and a certified MBE, bought a building for her six-year-old office supply and equipment business. On Friday, February 11, the T.A.B. building, located at 5561 Enright, was the site that Missouri Governor Matt Blunt chose to introduce his newly appointed Economic Development Director, Greg Steinhoff, and to announce the approach they will take to create jobs and promote economic success.
"Annetta created this great company based on the strength of her character and resolve. We want to replicate what Annetta has done here across the state," said Blunt.
The St. Louis Minority Business Council provides assistance for over 300 minority business owners like Annetta Vickers. The Council looks forward to working with Governor Blunt and Director Steinhoff in creating a climate that will increase business opportunities for minority firms as well as enhance economic development throughout Missouri and the St. Louis bi-state region.
